I used to think I hated learning.
The boring lectures, the confusing words, the endless exams...
When I moved to Australia at the age of 10, I couldn't speak English. No matter how hard I tried, I kept failing. I couldn’t follow what the teachers were saying. I couldn't keep up.
Eventually, I gave up. I felt useless and stupid.
I started spending time alone in the library, and that's where I found comics. I couldn't read them at first, but I understood the pictures.
Panel by panel, I started picking up the words. The stories drew me in. Without even noticing, I was learning.
That’s when I realised: I never hated learning. I just hated how it was taught.
Learning doesn't have to feel like a chore.
When it feels like a game, you explore, try, fail, and grow.
Not because it's easy, but because it's engaging. The best kind of learning pulls you in. It sparks curiosity. It challenges you.
Like a good game, it makes the struggle part of the fun.
That’s my mission: to make learning feel like play.
